I was looking at the roush r2300 supercharger for my mustang the other day which will stuff an additional 150 horsies under the hood. That's good, but then I happen to notice the same kit on American Muscle is said to bump the 2015s power to 600hp! Holy shredded tires batman! We truly live in a golden age of horsepower if it's that easy to make a 600 hp car.

Also GT350 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and it might be a smidge over $50000. Also, apparently now I have to wait in anticipation again for the next step up, the GT350R. An even more epic cobra? Yes please!

haha yes! If blue collar cars like challengers, camaros, and mustangs keep up with this thermonuclear horsepower war I could probably live up to my namesake one of these days.

I want to experience how 600+ hp feels like, and the instant torque a SC gives you. It must be insane, as the 420hp on my stock 5.0 are more than enough to kill yourself.

I hope so. Whatever Ford and Chevy do next has to beat the Hellcat, so I think a solid 1000 isn't out of the realm of possibility in the next decade. Just gotta wait until they embrace putting turbos on V8s.

Yeah they could put turbos on... or they could go massive displacement with bigger blowers! I'm talking 'bout blowing the viper, chevy blowing the ls7, ford bringin back a 7 liter with OHC... and blowing that too! :D

Or, or they could go big displacement and twin turbos AND superchargers. Seeing a 7.0 TT+Blown Mustang with 1400 horsepower from the factory sounds like a good day to be alive.
